PowerApps - the SMART web-based HR software
|
 |
|
|
PowerApps is the first ever integrated HRMS which was designed as a web-native
system from the ground up. It is a complete HR, Payroll and Workforce management
solution. PowerApps is used by organisations both large and small by
virtue of its scaleability and flexible licensing options.
For large enterprises Fluous provides complete in-house deployment along with
implementation and customization services to model your business rules.
The PowerApps suite has various
modules covering Core HR,
Advanced HR, Payroll, Employee Benefits, Absence/Leave,
Travel, Resource Planning, Time & Attendance etc. as separate
modules, yet tightly integrated with each other. For Enterprise customers,
adhoc reporting is built in with the product. PowerApps is available
with various licensing options.
The most exciting aspect of this suite is the availability of a comprehensive
Manager and Employee Self Service which is designed to ensure that
employees can deal with their own data without having to call or write to HR.
Thus, all routine queries from employees regarding remuneration, absence records,
approvals, compensation and benefits are answered without lifting a telephone!

Features unique to PowerApps
|
Multiple Entities & Multiple Location HR and Payroll
|
-
Fluous Power Apps is designed to be deployed centrally and run over Intranet /
VPN / WAN / Internet, straight out of the box. Unlike most of the comparable
solutions available, it is 100% web-native.
-
Rules that are completely configurable to meet all your requirements
-
It supports administration of the payroll for multiple entities from one single
installation, with each entity having it's own administrator and the employees
of each entity having their own secure log in. You can have centralised and
local HR / Payroll supervisors at the same time !
-
Each Entity in turn can have multiple units corresponding to
various operational locations, which could be administered locally or
centrally depending upon the requirement. This enables you to run decentralised
local HR/Payroll at large locations on the same centralised system.
-
Employees can be transferred from one organisation unit to another
-
Configuration details (parameters and rules) are specific to each operational
unit - for all rules related to Payroll, Absence, workflow, Time &
Attendance, Flexible Benefits, etc.
-
HR processes can be configured to mirror your organisation policy or best
practices. For example, if you regularly hold scheduled training, you can use
the training programme approval process. If you do not have regular training
events then you can directly create training schedules without going through
an approval process. This is made possible due to the flexible process
definitions in PowerApps.

Configurable Payroll Update Forms
|
-
Each Pay element is configurable with various options. You can define
eligibility for allowances, ad-hoc payments, benefits, unclaimed allowances,
etc.
-
Group pay elements together into a form which can be assigned to a specific
role(s) which has the privileges to update this information. This greatly
simplifies the data entry and enhances security of the system.
|
Complete Audit Trail
|
-
Audit trail of all payroll and master data changes
-
Complete activity trail of all activities by individual, by role
-
Visibility of who is doing what in the system - in real-time
|
Unlimited Levels of Security Configuration
|
-
User ID and Password based login
-
Each user in PowerApps is mapped to one or more Roles
-
Creation of Roles and granting access is part of the configuration tools and
access to configuration tools can be restricted to few designated roles
-
Depending upon the role chosen at the time of login, the person will be shown
only those menu options which the role permits
-
Each person is attached to one or more operating units for a particular role
-
Person may have full administrator access to certain units and limited access
under some other role in other units and no access in some units
-
Data entry access can be restricted to various type of payroll elements
-
Data entry access can further be restricted either for only one or more or all
pay groups
|
Global Configuration and Administration
|
-
All Masters can be held at the Group or Company level and copied to individual
locations or subsidiary companies while maintaining a uniform Global master
structure. This includes organisation unit masters, position and job
titles, HR master data, etc.
-
A single instance can be used to manage multiple legal entities which are
autonomously operated and controlled and have their own organisation management.
This is especially useful if you are deploying a single centralised solution
for a group of companies.
-
Powerful, instant ad-hoc reporting tool provides
any report you want through easy to use data views. You can also deploy
PowerApps BI for advanced MIS on your HR data.
