PowerApps advanced HR offers a comprehensive set of sub-modules which are fully integrated with other PowerApps modules. Advanced HR is self-service enabled in the same way which allows employees and managers to work within the same system. The key features of advanced HR are described below.

Training management

  • Training is part of the Competence management framework of PowerApps. PowerApps enables you to accurately record and analyse employee training, skills and qualifications.
  • Identify Training needs as part of appraisal / performance management process which is typically employee-initiated or supervisor-initiated.
  • Skill gap analysis enables HR to identify training needs. You can reduce employee turnover by skill gap analysis and training needs surveys.
  • Maintain catalog of training courses, subjects. Link each topic / course to relevant training material on your Intranet / Internet.
  • Allow supervirors to request for scheduling training, prepare training schedule and nominations for scheduled training
  • Adhoc training requests by employees through self service
  • Manage internal and external training alongwith references to subject matter / content, etc
  • Create and view historical training records of employees. Past training history can be updated for record keeping and analysis

Appraisals and Increment

  • HR dashboard allows to monitor the progress of appraisal flowing from employees, to reporting manager, and upto the final stage for promotions and increments.

Skills inventory management

  • Skills of various types can be managed with extensive categorisation
  • Each skill can be treated as a whole or graded according to a variety of rating scales
  • Rating scales can be numeric (e.g., 1-5) or objective (e.g., Excellent, Good, Fair)
  • Skills can be associated with employees, training, and with positions
  • Skill gap analysis allows HR to design training programs to address these gaps as well as find internal candidates best suited for new or existing positions

Letter generation
